More info:

The famous Slovenian folk song ‘Oj, Triglav, moj dom’ (Hey, Triglav, My Home) was written in 1894 by the priest, poet and translator Matija Žemljic under the pseudonym ‘Slavin’, and was inspired by the German patriotic song ‘O Schwarzwald, o Heimat’. A year later, Jakob Aljaž, also a priest and a great admirer of Slovenia’s highest mountain, Triglav, set the song to music.

Laibach chose the song for their performance at the opening ceremony of the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Planica 2023, and invited Boris Benko and Primož Hladnik (both Silence), singer Severa Gjurin, Tomi Meglič (Siddharta), Irena Anžič (zither), Petra Vidmar (percussion), the Slovenian Philharmonic Mixed Choir and the brass section of the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, to join them.
