Due to overwhelming interest, announcing a third Laibach concert in the underground of the Coal Mining Museum of Slovenia
On Friday, 19 October 2012, deep in the trenches of the Coal Mining Museum of Slovenia in Velenje, in addition to the already announced Laibach concerts at 18:30 and 20:30, a third concert has been added, starting at 22:30. The first two shows of the event Kohle ist Brot – Industrial Suite, which – for the first time in its history – Laibach will perform almost 200 metres below the surface of the Earth, sold out in just days. On 19 October 2012 Laibach will hold two special concerts (at 18:30h and 20:30h) in the Coal Mining Museum of Slovenia in Velenje. For the first time in its history, the band will perform nearly 200 m underground. At this unique event, titled Kohle ist Brot (Coal is Bread) Laibach will play a selection of their industrial songs from the early ’80s. Read more…
Laibach sold out also the show at historic and beautiful Centraltheater in Leipzig on September 21st.
Laibach sold out the show in a fantastic ex power station Berghain in Berlin, on September 19th. This was already 2nd Laibach’s concert in German capital this year.
Laibach is currently touring in Europe with 14 dates, presenting the We Come in Peace show, featuring songs from Laibach Revisited project, Iron Sky soundtrack, and recently released ‘Reproduction Prohibited’ album. This is one of the last opportunities this year to see the band live on stage.

After performing in London’s Tate Modern earlier in April Laibach did a special performance in Copenhagen’s spectacular National Gallery of Denmark, on September the 15th. A sold out event included Artist talk, Iron Sky film projection and Laibach’s concert. Laibach performed in the venue where the artist Danh Vos is exhibiting exact 1:1 replica of the Statue of Liberty’s sculpture, decomposed in hundreds of individual pieces.

On Monday 3 September, Mute are releasing “An Introduction to Laibach / Reproduction Prohibited”.
The album is a collection of remastered reinterpretations including Final Countdown, Across The Universe, Life is Life (Leben Heisst Leben) plus new recordings, Warme Lederhaut (Warm Leatherette) and Ballad of A Thin Man. The collection of songs was compiled by Laibach, presented with new artwork and sleevenotes. This recording is part of an exciting series of compilations from Mute named “An Introduction to…”.
